题目/Title: 挣钱和养孩子—基于北京市工作-家庭照顾平衡的个案研究
Making money and taking care of children— Case study of work-family balance in Beijing
内容简介/Abstract：
当今人们在满足了基本的物质需求之后，开始转向追求更高品质的生活，劳动者开始考虑工作的制度会不会帮助他们更好的平衡工作和家庭之间的关系。工作-家庭照顾之间能否平衡对一个人职业的影响远超过了个人意愿对职业的影响，家庭成员的意见在很多时候对劳动者的职业选择和工作效率造成很大影响。在中国公共服务市场化的改革，导致很多家庭尤其是贫困家庭无法通过购买服务来缓解工作-家庭照顾的冲突，因此这些家庭不得不依赖家庭内部成员履行家庭照顾的责任，但同时又要依靠他们的工作收入来维持家庭生活。本研究通过对不同类型家庭的个案研究深入了解家庭内部如何平衡工作-家庭照顾，以及他们对于企业和政府政策支持的需求。
Nowadays people are pursuiting higher quality of life since their basic material needs are satisfied. They are wondering whether the work system can help them maintain work-family balance. Considerations for work-family balance weighs more than the professional interest when people choose between job options. The choice of job and work efficiency is also influenced by opinions of one’s family members. The marketization of public services in China makes lots of families, especially the poor ones unable to purchase service to maintain work-family balance. Family members have to take the responsibilities of both family care and economic provision. This study seeks to understand how ordinary families balance work and domestic care and what kind of support they may expect from enterprise and government.
