Yugur is one of the ethnic groups with small population in China. Their two native languages have become endangered languages in this day and age. Since the reforming and opening up, there was a social process including three educational trials successively in Yugur region aimed at pursuing the fairness of Yugur linguistic inheriting in the schooling. This article, based on the description of that social process, firstly clarified that, below the surface, that process was actually a discourse competition by number of social actors in a certain social and cultural contexts; and then reflected on the ignoring of the emic voices of the children and adolescents; further pointed out that, one noteworthy characteristic in contemporary China is being over restricted and agitated by the so called concept of advanced and the ideology of development.
