Prof. Dr. Tao Chuanjin

Dr. Tao Chuanjin, is a Professor of the School of Social Development and Public Policy, Beijing Normal University, and the Director of its Research Center for Philanthropy. His academic expertise are: non-profit management, project evaluation in the field of philanthropy and public service, theory and practice of social service (from the perspective of non-profit management) and etc. He has independently presided national key research projects funded by The National Social Science Fund of China, the National Natural Science Fund of China and the Ministry of Education of China; independently presided over policy research projects procured by the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the State Council's Leading Group of Poverty Alleviation and Development, The United Front Work Department, the China Disabled Persons' Federation, the China Federation of Industry and Commerce and the Beijing Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau; and designed various national evaluation indicators, including evaluation indicators for charitable organizations, evaluation indicators for charitable projects, evaluation indicators for Internet fund-raising platforms, evaluation indicators for disaster relief social organizations and quality management systems/indicators for the public service of townships, etc.

Dr. Tao is also Chairman of Beijing Qiyue Center for Philanthropy.
