In this cool autumn, we meet each other

This afternoon is the beginning of all stories

On the afternoon of September 25, the fellowship activity organized jointly by the graduate associations of the School of Social Development and Public Policy (SSDPP), the School of Economics and Business Administration (SEBA) and the School of Artificial Intelligence (SAI) was successfully carried out in Qiujiduan Sinking Square at Beijing Normal University. More than 70 postgraduates took part in the event, and the male-female ratio reached 1:1, which is rare seen in Beijing Normal University.

Before the event, everyone was a little bit nervous. The moderator's humorous opening remarks, however, soon lit up the scene, and the game officially started in a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere.

The first session was the ice-breaking activity - holding together for warmth. The students formed a circle and jogged with the rhythm of music. After several rounds of elimination, the five strongest in the game won the final victory and prizes. In this link, we got to know and began to get closer with each other through holding together.

After that, the students were divided into groups according to the numbers randomly selected when signing in, and three rounds of game were conducted in groups. The points gained through the game ranking were used for the final loop game.

Points Game 1: Jump the Rope

The group that jumps the most within 90 seconds would win the game. Cooperating with team members, everyone showed amazing teamwork ability. After the polite greetings of "hello, what's your name", we got familiar with one another soon in the game, and the atmosphere reached a climax.

Points Game 2: Microphone

In this game, the team members needed to convey the meaning of words through physical performance, and could score only after the last teammate correctly speaks out the word. All these have to be done in three minutes. Our imaginative body movements brought a lot of joy. The witty performance made the students more familiar with each other, increasing the friendship between teams as well.

Points Game 3: Drifting Balloon

This game requires team members to hold the balloon back to back in pairs for a round trip relay. Inspired by the rule of "double scores for opposite sex teams", we actively organized opposite sex teams for higher scores. The team members discussed and formulated the tactics enthusiastically. The clever action combination caused cheers, which pushed the atmosphere of the activity to a climax again.

The last link of the activity is the most anticipated loop game. After recording the scores of various groups, the groups with relatively higher scores were allocated more gifts. A variety of gifts were prepared on site, including not only office supplies such as USB flash disk and wireless mouse, but also various cultural and creative items such as the school's exclusive key ring, folder and stationery bag, as well as special awards that are big surprises.

Some students won such gifts as film cameras, desk lamps and video memberships in the raffle. It's really a combination of strength and luck, which is enviable!
