Start A New Chapter in the New Semester- Classes of SSDPP Hold Class Meetings for the New Semester



At the beginning of the new semester, the classes of SSDPP have successively held online and offline class meetings, mainly talking about security and stability, epidemic prevention and control, fraud prevention, employment and entrepreneurship, etc.

The meetings of 2018 Doctoral Class, 2019 Master's Class and 2020 Master's Class were presided over by Ms Liu Danqing. Liu mainly exchanged ideas on epidemic prevention and control, dormitory safety, fraud prevention and employment progress with the students.

Ms Gao Jiamin presided over the meeting of 2021 Academic Master Class. The students shared their gains over the past semester at Beijing Normal University, and Ms Gao had an in-depth discussion with the students on three topics: "researchers should be prepared to sit on the bench", "breaking our own limitations" and "adding to life".

Mr. Han Huawei chaired the conference of 2019 Doctoral Class. He emphasized the work related to epidemic prevention and control, answered the students' questions on graduation thesis writing, employment, etc., and gave targeted suggestions.

Presided over by Ms Liu Fengqin, the meeting of 2020 Doctoral Class reviewed and summarized the class construction work last year and made arrangement of class work for the new semester. Ms Liu also emphasized the epidemic prevention and control, dormitory safety and physical and mental health, and shared her personal stories to encourage the students to work hard on the basis of cultivating noble character.

Presided over by Mr. Wang Xinsong, the conference of 2021 Doctoral Class proposed requirements on epidemic prevention and control, traffic safety, fire safety, network security, ideology and online learning. Wang also gave tips on the precautions in the process of doctoral study.

Ms Fu Yuanyuan presided over the meeting of 2019 MPA Class. She made detailed arrangements for epidemic prevention and control, safety and stability, ideology, etc., and answered the students' academic questions on graduation thesis writing, etc.

Mr. Xu Xiaoxin chaired the conference of 2020 MPA Class. He emphasized the epidemic prevention and control and gave suggestions on graduation thesis preparation, covering making breakthroughs in the core parts, mutual supervision among students, and strengthening interviews with tutors. Also, Mr. Xu answered the students' questions on graduation and employment, etc.

Ms Liang Yue chaired the meeting of 2020 Social Work Master & Doctoral Class and gave guidance on affairs related to safety and stability as well as epidemic prevention and control in the new semester. Ms Liang also discussed with the students about their physical and mental health and employment, answered the students' relevant questions, and reminded them to improve their awareness of prevention and learn to protect themselves.

Ms Wang Shihui presided over the meeting of 2021 Social Work Master & Doctoral Class, discussed with the students about safety and stability, future planning, exchange of ideas and Q&A, as well as internship. Ms Xiao Shuzhen was invited to answer the students' questions on internship and help the students reasonably plan their time, fully tap resources, and accomplish their tasks of various stages.

It is the right time to set sail and forge ahead to the future. The class meetings have laid a solid foundation for the students to devote themselves to study in a full state in the new semester.
