Meet you on the badminton court:SSDPP's Badminton Game in 2021​



In order to enrich the students' after-school life, create a positive, healthy and happy atmosphere and stimulate their love for sports, the Sports Department of the Graduate Association of SSDPP held the badminton game of SSDPP at the badminton hall of Changping campus on December 5, 2021. The game was originally scheduled for October. Although it was postponed due to COVID-19, our enthusiasm remained unabated. Many master and doctoral students from various grades signed up for the event and showed their respective skills at the court, making the game a wonderful event.

Badminton game schedule

It is a competition of badminton singles, which is divided into three rounds. In each round, the two sides are randomly formed by drawing lots, and the elimination competition system of 15 points and two wins in three games is adopted. The game adopts the latest rules of the International Badminton Federation. It is equipped with referees and scorers, and has clear requirements for the service order, scoring points and service venues. At the same time, the staff of the Sports Department has done a good job in providing sufficient logistical support, materials and emergency measures.

Wonderful Badminton Match

After a short warm-up to adapt to the court, the badminton game officially began. The players fought bravely at the court, smashed, and put the ball in front of the net, showing their skills incisively and vividly.

After nearly two hours of competition, we finally ushered in the ranking match of the first, second, and third places. The players of both sides were evenly matched. Powerful smashes, flexible saves and long-range drop balls emerged one after another, highly praised by the audience.

Finally, Shang Hui, a doctoral student enrolled in 2020, Zhang Yuan, a doctoral student enrolled in 2020, and Li Song, a master's student enrolled in 2021 won the first, second and third place respectively. The staff of the sports department gave them the prizes.

Badminton game of master and doctoral students

The badminton game is over but our friendship lasts forever. The fierce competition and the spirit of never giving up are not only the greatest respect for the opponent, but also the continuous improvement of ourselves. At the end of autumn and the beginning of winter, the master and doctoral students of SSDPP met at the gymnasium of Changping campus to feel the happiness brought by sports. In the fierce competition, we encouraged each other and united as one, which reflected the sports competitive spirit of understanding, unity, fairness and friendship, creating a good atmosphere of unity and fraternity.
