Content: Today's world is undergoing great changes unseen in a hundred years and China is in the critical period of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Building a powerful socialist country in an all-round way puts forward new requirements for government governance methods and capabilities. No matter for the "Chinese dream" or the strategic concept of "a community of shared future for mankind", or to achieve the strategic goal of effectively linking the consolidation of the achievements of poverty alleviation with rural revitalization, we need to summarize the practices of public management and explore the law of China's domestic public management. On the basis of more than a decade of experience in public management teaching, Cheng Huixia, a teacher of SSDPP, had her works "Notes on Public Management: Content, Tools and Logic of Government Governance" printed. Starting with "public management discipline originated from crisis", "new requirements put forward by the Chinese dream for government governance" and "government credibility", based on her in-depth analysis of the core contents of government governance, such as "what the government does", "how the government does" and "why the government acts like this", the works gives a preliminary answer to the question of "how to make innovations to government governance in the new era", that is, to cross the failure trap on the way to a "better life" with "public interest" as the anchor, emphasizing that we must understand the "problem basis" to make government innovations and approach the "direction of modernization" in the "local context".
