The 2023 Graduation Ceremony of SSDPP at Beijing Normal University Successfully Held

At 15:00 on June 21, the School of Social Development and Public Policy (SSDPP) of Beijing Normal University held the graduation ceremony for the 2023 master and doctoral graduates at Beijing Campus and Zhuhai Campus simultaneously. The relevant leaders, teachers and the 2023 master and doctoral graduates attended the event. The ceremony was presided over by Li Pengyang, the monitor of the 2021 Master's Class of SSDPP.

With the broadcast of graduation video, the ceremony kicked off. At the beginning of the event, all the teachers and students rose to sing the national anthem.

At the second session of the event, Mr. Tian Donghua, Secretary of the General Party Branch, delivered a speech. In the current complex situation, Mr. Tian said, the graduates should overcome difficulties to usher in a bright future, and he was proud of them. Mr. Tian reminded the graduates to keep in mind the motto of "learning to be an excellent teacher and acting as an exemplary person", adhere to conscience and morality rather than follow the trend, always stand with the people, and strive to make greater progress.

At the third session, the leaders and teachers of SSDPP announced the names of outstanding graduates and the winners of the awards for excellent papers. Teacher Zhang Weijun announced the names of the winners of the awards for excellent thesis. Secretary Tian Donghua read out the name list of the municipal and university-level outstanding graduates. Li Haiyan announced the names of outstanding graduates of SSDPP.

At the fourth session, representatives of graduates delivered speeches. Xin Yujia, the representative of doctoral graduates, Gao Dawei, the representative of master graduates, Mo Tianhong, the representative of MSW graduates, and Wang Ning, the representative of MPA graduates, delivered a speech successively. They reviewed their respective experience in their studies, expressed their gratitude to the teachers and classmates who had given help and support to them, and wished SSDPP a prosperous future.

Finally, Mr. Tian Donghua made a summary. He thanked the students for their support and understanding of our work. SSDPP, he said, welcomes the graduates to come back from time to time and share their progress and joy in life, and hopes they will all realize their life value by being down-to-earth.
